Human Situation Humans are born into the world in need of spiritual and material education. Obeying God is the source of grow; disobeying Him blocks us from consciously receiving His blessings. God gives us tests and difficulties to develop our character as we struggle to find and obey Him.
Life’s Purpose Purpose of life is to recognize the Manifestation of God in His Day, to obey His teachings, and to aid in the development of an ever-advancing world civilization.
Afterlife Soul is created at birth and separates from the body at the moment of death continuing on an endless journey back to God. Heaven and hell are not physical locations but states of being.
Practices Prayer, meditation, reading the Baha’i Writings, pilgrimage, earning a living, acquiring virtues and education, service to God and humanity, and abstinence from vice and intoxicants.
