Pray with Us!
Is it possible to move mountains with prayer? Yes, it is. Is it more likely to happen if people pray together with an intense sincerity and high-minded purpose? Statistically, it is. That’s why interfaith devotional gatherings are so important.
The Baha’is in our community host many devotional meetings. They are inter-religious and open in nature. Everyone is invited, including children and youth. In times of greatest need we turn to prayer. Don't wait for an emergency. Prayer is positive step forward. Prayer can be a solace to the soul. It can move hearts and change minds. Join us and let’s connect up together.
The purpose of the interfaith devotional gatherings sponsored by the Baha’is is to bring people together from different faith traditions in a spirit of devout worship and meaningful reflection. People from different walks of life bring unique experiences and insights that enhance the depth of the devotions and heighten the clarity of the meditations.
We are all the children of one God, the Creator. He has sent Messengers to us in the past to guide us and He will do so in the future as we grow and develop. Prayers from different religious and spiritual sources are welcome. The variety of prayers from around the world is as striking as the diversity of people that populate this planet.
Prayers for different purposes are encouraged. Some people need healing. Others need help of one sort or another. Prayers for the departed are powerful as are supplications for aid and assistance to meet the trials and tribulations of life in an insanely irrational world.
All are welcome. All can help make a difference.
Prayer is the fuel that feeds the flame of progress. It is the light that illumines the way forward. Add your light to the growing
